MicroProse B-17G Flying Fortress (EARLY ACCESS)

One of the most renowned aircraft of World War II is the B-17 Flying Fortress. It was renowned for its durability, the abundance of heavy weapons it carried for protection, and its ability to return crews home despite the odds. As part of MicroProse's Heritage Valor Collection, this is an accurate recreation of the G-model, the most extensively produced and enhanced variant, for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

This Early Access release has been collaborated on by historians, foundations and warbird enthusiasts to ensure that it is both immersive and historically accurate. In order to pay tribute to the personnel that flew her and the communities that maintain her existence, each rivet, texture, and sound has been meticulously replicated.

• Multiplayer support, including animations and effects

Early Access Roadmap

The B-17G will continue to improve with the availability of free enhancements. These enhancements will include the addition of new crew configurations, advanced maintenance systems and additional liveries. It will be guided by ongoing feedback and enhancements from the community until the full release.
