The Twin Otter really is the small airliner that does it all, whether you're landing on tarmac runways, mudflats, water, sand, or snow and ice. No other aircraft makes regular scheduled flights in both Polar regions as well as to airports at extreme altitude, on tropical islands or just to a beach in the UK - and after decades or service too! This remarkable aircraft is not a large twin-engined General Aviation aircraft, but in its complexity is really more of a small airliner, and this Twin Otter Extended add-on shows the aircraft in its full complexity.
This aircraft represent the best in modelling (with 2k textures) and comes with complex systems and the best implementation of turbine engines to date, and features accurate flight models which have been tested by several Twin Otter pilots. Where the default FSX systems are not good, they have been replaced with custom-developed modules.
The experienced simulator pilot can start the aircraft with all the checks and tests that are needed, but this complex aircraft is usable by all pilots. You can use the advanced interactive checklist to guide you step by step or you can jump straight into an aircraft ready for take-off.
