Tocumen International Airport (IATA: PTY, ICAO: MPTO) is the international airport of Panama City, the capital of Panama. The airport serves as the home base for Copa Airlines and is a regional hub to and from the Caribbean, South, North and Central America and also features routes to some European cities. The airport handles 15,616,065 annually and it’s undergoing a major expansion of its terminal area. Terminal 2 (South Terminal) is expected to open in late 2018 – early 2019.
