Alta Airport (ENAT, ALF), located scenically at the Altafjord, is part of one of the most sparsely populated and most remote areas of northern Norway.
This add-on for FSX and P3D provides a very accurate and realistic recreation of Alta Airport, including highly detailed models and textures that hjave been optimised for excellent visuals with great performance. A custom windsock, flag and people animations, runway lighting and night-time effects create a lifelike and lively rendition of Alta airport.
Special highlights are the seasonal variations, including 3D snow which, in combination with the customised terrain mesh, provides an impressive atmosphere especially during winter. The mountains in the nearly 50 km² surroundings of the airport make for a challenging approach in a remarkable ambience.
