PA-28R Arrow III - latest images and a development update

Ready for release in February!
3 February 2017

Our all-new PA-28R Arrow III for FSX and P3D should be ready for release towards the end of February and we've recently posted a new selection of screenshots showing the aircraft in the latest stages of development.

Just Flight's in-house developers have been hard at work putting the finishing touches to it - here's Martyn with an update on their progress:

"As you can see from the latest set of screenshots, the modelling and texturing is nearly complete. We have coupled a highly detailed model with high-definition (4096 x 4096) textures to produce an incredibly accurate replica of our research aircraft, G-BGKU. From the animated storm window, sun visors and circuit breakers to the peeling paintwork and grass-strewn floor, the virtual cockpit really is an immersive environment.

Coding of the various systems is also nearing completion. Avionics such as the Piper Autocontrol IIIB (autopilot), the extensive radio stack (KMA 20, KX 170, KX 175, KT 76, KN 62 and KR 85) and the GPS 100 have been keeping our coders busy. All of these gadgets and many more will, of course, be fully functional. Work on the in-depth manual, complete with flight tutorial and checklists, is well under way so you’ll have no problems getting to grips with the extensive functionality included in this simulation.

We have also now received an excellent sound set from Turbine Sound Studios which does a great job of bringing the Arrow to life!"

We'll let you know the release date as soon as it's confirmed - in the meantime, more screenshots and all the aircraft details are available on the PA-28R Arrow III page!
