• I'm having problems with the Tracker, everytime I load FSX I get a message saying CPTrackerX has encountered a problem and needs to close
Please download this file: here
Unzip it, then run SimConnect.msi
This is from Microsoft - it will automatically install SimConnect again (this is the module that's needed for communication between the Tracker and FSX). Once it has installed, see if the crashing persists. If it does, install the file below using the instructions provided.
Make sure you have installed .NET framework 2.0 and Cargo Pilot update 02 prior to installing the SimConnect file. If you purchased the download version of Cargo Pilot after 21st December 2009, you do not require Cargo Pilot update 02.

Extract the file CPTrackerX.exe into
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\CargoPilot\Presets\FSLauncher
Run Cargo Pilot, see if it's working. In case it is NOT working please include the following information when emailing us:
- Are you using the FSX Service Pack 1 or 2?
- Which Windows version are you using (XP64 or Vista64)?
- What kind of problem is happening? Is it a Tracker crash with an "Exception" error message or does the Tracker not connect to FS?
