FSX COMPATIBILITY UPDATES

 

FSX compatibility information on Just Flight add-ons is listed here, where an update for FSX compatibility has been made available for products which were not originally developed for FSX.

Updates may be for FSX compatibility and/or SP2/Acceleration/DX10 Preview compatibility - please refer to the full details in the relevant Support section for each product.

737 Pilot In Command has now been updated for Flight Simulator X. This new version on DVD-ROM for FSX/FS2004 is also fully compatible with Windows Vista and the Flight Simulator SP2 service pack.

If you have the old FS2004 release of this add-on, various upgrade options are available:

FSX/Windows XP compatibility - If you wish to upgrade to FSX/Windows XP compatibility, you can download a FREE update - for full details click here.

FSX/Windows VISTA compatibility - If you wish to upgrade to FSX/Windows Vista compatibility, you can purchase an upgrade (379Mb Download) here.

 

The version of A400M Airlifter currently on sale is fully compatible with FSX (and SP2 / Acceleration).

If you have the old FS2004 release of this add-on, an update (97.5Mb) for FSX compatibilitycan be downloaded from the Support section here.


C-130 Hercules has been fully reworked by the development team at Captain Sim and the Boxed version currently on sale is compatible with FSX (and SP2/Vista/Acceleration and DX10 Preview).

If you have Just Flight's old FS2004-only version, an FSX Upgrade is on sale now.

 

Both the Boxed and the Download versions of Cargo Pilot currently on sale are compatible with FSX.

The old FS2004-only version can be updated to FSX compatibility by installing Update 02 (8.8Mb), which can be downloaded from the Support section here.

 

Boxed  - The boxed version of F-117A Stealth Fighter currently on sale is compatible with FSX. For Acceleration / SP2 compatibility, however, an update (6.5Mb) is required - you can download it here.

Download - The Download version of F-117A Stealth Fighter currently on sale is compatible with FSX and also with Acceleration / SP2.

The old FS2004-only version can be updated to FSX compatibility by installing the Flight Simulator Update (58Mb) from the Support section here.

 

                          Flying Club, Flying Club X & Flying Club aircraft Downloads

All the individual Flying Club aircraft currently on sale by download are compatible with FSX SP2 and DX10 Preview.

Flying Club X is compatible with FSX, but a 158Mb update for SP2/Acceleration/DX10 Preview compatibility is available from our Support section here.

Flying Club - An update for FSX compatibility is available from our Support section here.

Schweizer 300CBi Boxed is compatible with FSX, but a 14Mb update for SP2/Acceleration/DX10 Preview compatibility is available from our Support section here.

 

An FSX update for the Boxed version is available here, although please note that this only updates the aircraft for use in FSX - the scenery and refuelling module are unfortunately not compatible with FSX.

The Download version of RAF Tornado currently on sale is FSX-compatible.

 

Both the Boxed and the Download versions of RAF Vulcan currently on sale are compatible with FSX.

Users of the old FS2004-only version of RAF Vulcan can update it to FSX compatibility by purchasing the 55Mb FSX Upgrade.

 

All aircraft in the Download version of Spitfire are compatible with FSX.

Owners of the Boxed version should download the FSX Update (139Mb) from the Support section here - please read the installation instructions carefully!

Note: The scenery of Duxford will not work in FSX.

 

The Download version of Tiger Moth currently on sale is compatible with FSX.

Users of the Boxed version should install the Service Pack which is available from our Support section here and updates Tiger Moth to full SP2/Acceleration compatibility.

Users of the additional Tiger Moth packs (Float Plane Pack, Ski Plane Pack or the combined  Float & Ski Plane Double Pack) simply need to re-download and install the files again from here. This will fully update the aircraft.

 

Traffic 2005

Traffic 2005 was renamed Traffic in November 2006, and is still available to buy as a Download version, which is compatible with FSX.

If you have a copy of the Download or the Boxed version of Traffic 2005, download and install the FSX Update (70.6Mb) from our Support section here.
